One day trip to get a tan on paradise “Koh Larn”, Thailand

I am 100% Thai (and super proud of my beautiful country). That is why my skin will never be whiter than what it is now so I embrace that and am willing to keep it glowing. Obviously, I need to get some sun and lying on the beach is always the best idea ever! If you guys read about me, I believe that you would know some of my background.

Anyways I am happy to introduce myself again. I live in Bangkok, Thailand. I am moving to Malaysia to work and gain new experience for my life. Aaaaagh I can’t wait. I’ve already fallen in love with the blue sea all around Thailand and beyond, and I have a (not-so) secret place, so close to Bangkok, to refresh myself whenever I want to escape from the chaos of the city.

Where is the closest beach I can reach from Bangkok? “Pattaya” no doubt. What you have heard about Pattaya before, please leave it behind (there’s more to this place than go-go bars and drunk foreigners I promise). Let’s me show some sides of Pattaya that are able to amaze you.

Pattaya City

How do I get from Bangkok to Pattaya? I usually take a bus from Ekkamai bus station which costs only about 130 baht ($4) and takes about 2 hours to get to Pattaya City. You don’t need to book a ticket in advance, just turn up at the bus station, buses leave every 30 minutes.

Once your in Pattaya, there is an interesting island recommended by yours truly named “Koh Larn” (Ko Lan) which isn’t far from Pattaya city at all. Why we should hit here instead of enjoying the beach from the city side? I will share some of my pictures I took so you could understand how stunning the island is.

To travel to “Koh Larn”, from Pattaya’s Bali Hai Pier, which is just a few minutes walking past Walking Street. My choice was getting on a ferry which costs me only 20 baht ($1) and takes about 50 minutes to get to my paradise.

What to do on “Koh Larn” It is not a place for parties. If you want to give yourself a brilliant time by looking at crystal blue sea, clean white sand and getting some fresh air, I believe that “Koh Larn” can serve you exactly this.

What beach I usually spend my day on? My favorite beach is “Samae Beach”. Why? Because it has everything I need restaurants, shops, activities but it doesn’t seem that crowded which makes me crazy for it.

Aswell as my fav beach above, there’s also Tawaen Beach (the biggest and busiest). Lots of restaurants (of course seafood is needed), shops and activities available for you guys to have some fun with your friends or family.

The last major beach is “Nual Beach” which is much quieter and only handful of people make it here. I have been  there twice. It is a nice place but I only have “Samae Beach” in my mind whenever I go to Koh Larn

If you wish to surround yourself with nature to boost your productivity, I believe that Koh Larn would be the right answer for you all.
